HFCS rebranding to "Corn Syrup" still pending - Stop this now!

UPDATE: We have been in touch with the FDA and the status of the Corn Sugar name change is still under review.
Please help us send the TRUTH to the American public that the name
"Corn Sugar" has NOT been taken, according to a well cited piece on
September 21st, 2010, by Dr. Marion Nestle in The Atlantic called "Sorry
Corn Refiners: The Name 'Corn Sugar' Is Already Taken."
Please help us send a letter to the Editor asking
The Atlantic to re-address the name change issue and help us send the
CORRECT information to the consumer. If we consumers know that this
issue is still very much ALIVE, we can help to do something about it!

Corn Salt! If HFCS can be renamed Corn Sugar, we might as well call fake salt "corn salt" too!

The Corn Refiners Association (CRA)—the trade organization that champions high fructose corn syrup—announced Tuesday it has applied with the Food and Drug Administration to approve a more innocuous name for what they say is merely "corn sugar."

Come on, people! Do you think we are that gullible???!!!

Let's just go ahead and start naming various spices and food products Corn-Blank.  For starters, we'll call pretend salt, "corn salt".
